Jeremiah Johnson has been the Computer & Networking Technology instructor at WCTC since 2012. He is a graduate of Kennebec Valley Community College with an AAS in Applied Electronics & Computer Technology, and currently pursuing his Bachelors in Computer Forensics & Digital Investigations at Champlain College.

Joya Maynard joined the WCTC family in 2015.  She has worked in school finance since 2002 and has an Associates Degree in Accounting.  Financial needs/requirements are always changing in education whether it be local or state. She enjoys the every day challenges which helps make working with numbers never boring !

Kevin Michaud joined the WCTC family in 2015.  In one capacity or another, Mr. Kevin A. Michaud (KAM) has been in the field of education for nearly 30 years. Needless to say, he truly enjoys working with students and staff members, and is VERY happy to be here at WCTC!

Frannie Conlon joined the WCTC family in 2018.   Ms Conlon started with WCTC last year as a substitute teacher. Ms. Conlon is Registered Nurse with twenty-five years in the acute care setting.  She received her nursing degree from Victor Valley School of Nursing in Victorville, CA.  Although she is new to instructing in a classroom setting, she is well accustomed to teaching in a variety of settings and very excited about this new adventure as the CNA Instructor for WCTC.

Mark J ScipioneSmall Engines/Diesel Instructor

Mark Scipione joined the WCTC family in 2005.  Mark worked as a Diesel technician for BFI Browning Ferris Industries in Massachusetts for 16 years.  Mark performed various duties including preventative maintenance,  road repairs and was also the second shift foreman.

Kevin McKenney is joining the WCTC family this year 2019 as the Welding and Fabrication Instructor.  Mr. McKenney has 17 years of welding experience, and he became AWS Certified in 2003.  He attended Mid-Maine Technical Center for Precision Machining, and later, Eastern Maine Community College. Mr. McKenney graduated from EMCC with 2 Associate’s Degrees: Welding Technology, and Pipe Fabrication, respectively.

Lacey Breems joined the WCTC family in August 2017.    

Lacey Breems grew up in Winslow, Maine, graduating from Winslow High School in 2001. She attended the University of Maine Farmington where she earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Mathematics. While attending college, she substitute taught in Winslow, covering both regular and special education in all grades from K-12.

Ed Tech Jon Cox

Jon Cox joined the Waldo County Technical Center in August 2017.  JC comes to us with 35 years experience as an Ed Tech and Teacher in Special Education.

In those years he also has been Park & Recreation Director, Track Coach, Baseball, Basketball and Track Official. He has an Associates Degree from UMO and BA from Lesley College. Outside of school his interests are exploring Waldo County (and beyond) in his jeep, hiking, camping, gardening and working on his farm.

Junior Turner joined the Waldo County Technical Center in July 2017. He has approximately 20 years experience in school building maintenance from RSU#3 and RSU#20.   Junior enjoys camping and stock car racing.

Holly Shue joined the WCTC family in 2015 as an Ed Tech. We are pleased to have Ms. Shue move in to our instructor position for the new school year 2019/20. She previously worked as an Ed Tech in RSU 3.  She comes to us with a diverse work history in speech language pathology, real estate management, energy healing, and health consultant/coach.

Rob Dunbar joined the WCTC family in 2018 as an Ed Tech for our Strive/ESP program.  Mr. Dunbar comes to WCTC with 9 years of experience in the education field.   He coached high school Soccer and Basketball at Schenk High School and Madison High School. He graduated from Mt. View High School and continued his education at Husson University and Unity College.

Rich Benedict joined the Waldo County Technical Center in August 2017.  

Mr. Benedict is a graduate of Henry Abbott Regional Vocational Technical School in Connecticut, from their four year Carpentry program. He moved to Maine in 2004 to attend Unity College, and is now happy to call Maine home. He has been in the Carpentry trade for almost 25 years in the fine woodworking/cabinetry side of the industry. His interests outside of teaching include gardening, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Gil Russell joined the WCTC family in 2004. Mr Russell first came to Waldo County Technical Center in 1978 as a student. After completing the course at WCTC, Mr. Russell spent 27 years in the Auto Collision field and is now back teaching the Auto Collision/Composites program at WCTC.

We are pleased to have Jackie Boulay start as our new Culinary Instructor for 20/21 school year.  Mrs. Boulay joined the WCTC family in 2019 as an Ed Tech in our ESP/Strive Program. Prior to that she was a substitute teacher.  Jackie first came to WCTC in 1993 as a student in the Early Childhood Program.
