The AM program covers many different aspects of what it takes to work in the culinary world. Here are some of the things that will be covered in the first year:
  • Equipment identification
  • food and product identification
  • Knife skills
  • Running a cafe open to the students
  • Food demos and challenges
  • Safety and sanitation
  • Culinary measurements
  • Respect and conduct guidelines in a professional kitchen 
  • Servsafe and OSHA certifications
  • Resume building
  • Life skills
  • Teamwork in a realistic work environment
  • Special events and catering experience



The PM program will have an emphasis on improving your skills in the kitchen and:
  • Running a commercial kitchen open to the public
  • Exploration of many international cuisines
  • History and culture of food from around the world
