The focus of the STRIVE program is on team work, social skills, communication skills, employability skills, and basic math skills. Students will have the opportunity to practice these skills through classroom discussions, woodworking, small greenhouse projects, and field trips. Academics will include basic math skill, group discussions about current events using Scholastic Upfront Magazine, and activities around employability. Some writing will be expected. STRIVE is a pre-technical program and a visit to the program is required prior to admission.  Accepted students will earn a pass/fail only.

4 Credits - PM Only

This is a Pre-Technical program.  A meeting with the instructor is required prior to admission.
