Travis Wood became Waldo Tech's Director in October 2022. Prior to coming to Waldo Tech, Mr. Wood was the Principal of Ellsworth Middle School. Mr. Wood comes to WCTC with a wide background related to CTE. He worked for the DOE for 8 years (two of those years as the CTE standards and Assessment Coordinator for all CTE's in the State). Mr. Wood worked 18 years at BIW, where he graduated from the 6000 hour pipefitter apprenticeship program (1992). Mr. Wood enjoys many outdoor activities and spending time with family.

Joya Maynard joined the WCTC team in 2015. Joya has an Associates Degree in Accounting and she has worked in school finance since 2002. She enjoys the every day challenges which helps make working with numbers never boring !
