Diesel Technology is a course of study which covers diesel engine principles: disassembly, assembly fuel injection, electrical and other component repair. Most shop work will be done on runnable diesel engines. Students will diagnose and repair machines in a wide range of real work situations. Engines are brought in from the community and repaired in a manner follo
wing typical repair shop procedures. Students have the opportunity to earn the 10-hour OSHA. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification in Air Brakes available for second year students.
