Jon Cox joined the Waldo County Technical Center in August 2017. JC comes to us with 35 years experience as an Ed Tech and Teacher in Special Education.
In those years he also has been Park & Recreation Director, Track Coach, Baseball, Basketball and Track Official. He has an Associates Degree from UMO and BA from Lesley College. Outside of school his interests are exploring Waldo County (and beyond) in his jeep, hiking, camping, gardening and working on his farm.

Adam Fernald joins the WCTC family for our 20/21 school year as and Ed Tech II in our ESP/Strive Program.
Adam is a woodworker by trade, but has dabbled in most of the other technologies. Adam started his journey in woodworking in his uncle’s woodshop at a young age. While attending Lawrence High School, he had the opportunity to go to Mid-Maine Technical Center for fine woodworking his junior and senior year. Adam continued his learning of woodworking at Eastern Maine Community College, where he graduated with an AAS in fine woodworking/cabinet making.

Scott Durant joins the WCTC family for our 20/21 school year as and Ed Tech III in our ESP/Strive Program.
Scott Durant has been an Ed. Tech. since 1998 working for Jefferson Village School and China Middle School. This is his first year at WCTC. He has a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of Massachusetts.
