Gil Russell has been a member of the Waldo Tech team since 2004. Mr Russell first came to Waldo County Technical Center in 1978 as a student. After completing the course at WCTC, Mr. Russell spent 27 years in the Auto Collision field and is now back teaching the Auto Collision/Composites program at WCTC.
Mr Russell is Silver Certified in PPG paint refinishing as well as being I-CAR certified in a number of collision repair areas such as fixed glass replacement, steering and suspension, paint and refinish, automotive foams, anti-lock brakes and fixed panel replacement. Mr Russell is also licensed in air conditioning repair.
The Auto Collision program is NATEF certified. This program has articulation agreements with nearby colleges for thin metal welding, steering and suspension and occupational safety that provide students the chance to earn college credits in the WCTC Auto Collision program.
